Lincoln Health Foundation has awarded a grant to United Way of Northeast Louisiana, which will either entirely or partially fund the development or expansion of four programs that will provide areas of health, nutritional and physical fitness for children and residents of Lincoln Parish.

United Way of Northeast Louisiana will work with four United Way partner agencies in Lincoln Parish to improve health. The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Louisiana will receive $62,564, which will help to implement their “Triple Play” program that focuses on nutrition and physical fitness for school-age children who attend the club’s after-school programs.
