Emile Frey, a teacher at Ruston High School, received funding from DonorsChoose.org for a slow motion unvestigation project that provides two slow-motion cameras that enable physics students to learn about the motion of objects.

“Students can investigate forces and motion frame by frame,” Frey said. “For instance, by dropping a ball in front of a measuring device and using the slow motion footage, students can calculate the acceleration due to gravity for themselves.”
