Those who chose to vote in Lincoln Parish Police Jury District 6 decided it was time for a change in representation.
Voters gave Walter D. Pullen, a Republican businessman, the seat in lieu of incumbent Democrat Roy Glover. Pullen received 61.09 percent of the votes, which accounted for 438 votes. Glover received 38.91 percent, which accounted for 279 votes. A total of 717 parish residents cast their votes to decide who would represent them on the police jury.
