Former Grambling stars Brown, Harris chosen for Black College Football shrine

GRAMBLING — Grambling State University’s football program has added another page to its legendary history.

The famous Lincoln Parish school that has sent more than 200 players on to the professional ranks has two of its former stars in the 2012 induction class for the Black College Football Hall of Fame.

Defensive back Willie Brown and quarterback James “Shack” Harris are the Tigers included in the group of 11 individuals who will be recognized for their contributions to historically black collegiate programs in Atlanta, Ga., on Feb. 14.
