Students, community paint to help others

As shoppers head to local stores in search of holiday gifts, they may see something a little odd at some of them: brightly painted rocks.

Rather than an intriguing new trend, the rocks are a way for community members to help make the holidays a little brighter for children living at the Methodist Children’s Home.
Maggie Boudreaux, an art teacher at A.E. Phillips, said she recently found out that MCH had only a few art supplies in their art department.
