Parish roads slated for repair in 2012
A number of Lincoln Parish roads are slated to receive repairs in the next couple of years.
During their regular meeting this month, Lincoln Parish Police Jurors approved the planned Capital Improvement Program for 2012 and proposed work for 2013-14.
Louisiana Tech engineering professor Aziz Saber, who acted as a consultant for the jury, said he and parish transportation department employees examined roads throughout the parish. He said a database was developed containing information about roads and a rating for those that need work immediately. Saber said this priority status was based primarily on the condition of the road.
