Students focus on key skills, take break in day

For 25 minutes each day after lunch, Lincoln Parish middle school students are kicking back and having fun, as long as they’re not behind on homework, need to make up a test or simply need some help figuring out a new concept.

Students at Ruston Junior High School, Simsboro School and I.A. Lewis School are all participating in the new Intervention Before Enrichment (ib4e) program. After lunch, teachers pull students who need an extra hand or who have fallen behind on work back into the classroom to catch up.
