A 51-foot trailer nicknamed “La Tech One” departed from Ruston en route to San Diego, Calif., on Thursday to carry equipment for the Bulldogs and band in preparation for Wednesday’s San Diego Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

There’s a new addition to the Louisiana Tech football program making a trip to the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl and, while it is not connected to a wedding, it is something new and something blue. “LA Tech One” arrived in Ruston earlier this week, a new tractor-trailer for the team’s equipment staff.

“LA Tech One” is the name for the 51-foot trailer with an impressive design by Matt Lange Design that will haul the team’s equipment as well as instruments and uniforms for the Band of Pride to the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego.

With help from Tango Transport, “LA Tech One” departed from Ruston Thursday and will meet the team in San Diego in time for the Bulldogs’ first practice on Saturday.
