Jones, Landry plan wedding
Michael and Pam Jones, of Ruston, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter, Michelle Lee Jones, of Ruston, to Jacob Daniel Landry, of Belle Rose.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Malcolm Cathey and the late Mr. Cathey, of Simsboro, and Mrs. Aubrey Jones and the late Mr. Jones, of Choudrant. She is a 2004 alumna of Cedar Creek, and a 2008 graduate of Louisiana Tech University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She is also a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University in New Orleans where she received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Michelle is employed at Baton Rouge Physical Therapy — Lake in Baton Rouge.
The groom is the son of Daniel and Brigette Landry, of Belle Rose. He is the grandson of Mrs. Percy Joseph Landry Jr. and the late Mr. Landry, of Belle Rose, and Mrs. Neil Dominique Landry, Sr. and the late Mr. Landry, of Belle Rose. Jacob is a 2004 graduate of Ascension Catholic High School and 2009 alumnus of Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He is employed by Boh Brothers Construction Company in Baton Rouge.
The couple plan to exchange vows in a 6 p.m. ceremony on Feb. 4 at the Douglas United Methodist Church, followed by a reception at Squire Creek Country Club.
