Question: Our daughter has just graduated from college. She worked hard to graduate without any student debt. Now she is romantically interested in a “perfect” young man. But our daughter tells us he has over $30,000 of student debt. This concerns our daughter (and us!) very much and we are wondering if you have any advice.
 
Answer: The school debt incurred by your daughter’s romantic interest is not necessarily a stop sign, but it sure is a red flag.
