How popular is Korean Karate — The Art of Tae Kwon Do?

There are currently seven schools from the Chittim-Jordan lineage in North Louisiana. Susan Watts, a sixth degree black belt and USKA world fighting champion is chief instructor at the Ark-La-Tex Tae Kwon Do located in Bossier City. Buster Cotten, a sixth degree black belt and USKA world kata champion, teaches students at the Jackson Parish Karate School located in Jonesboro. Rodney McPherson, a sixth-degree black belt and USKA world weapons kata champion recently promoted three students — Bethany Rhodes, Dee Nyegaard and Aleck Nyegaard — of Farmerville D’Arbonne Martial Arts to the rank of black belt.
