Take me out to the ball game
Gov. Bobby Jindal announced his initial declaration into leadership as governor of Louisiana in March of 2008 with one thing in mind: education. It appears the governor feels that looking back over his previous term he has failed to meet his “benchmarks.” He emphasized how he felt he had failed in this area, and this time he was putting his foot first with “books in hand.”
It seems that Jindal has made a lot of accomplishments as governor. In 2008 he was the state’s first nonwhite governor since Reconstruction. He was the first Indian-American governor in our nation. With history in the making again for his second term, he won re-election with the highest margin since 1975. It is again time for him to take office and make his stand.
