A Ruston man wanted in connection with the alleged theft of more than $200,000 from an elderly man over a span of two years was arrested Tuesday after Ruston Police Department officers and U.S. Secret Service agents tracked him down.

James Cedrick Parker Sr., 56, 720 Jody Court, was charged with theft over $1,500, operating a vehicle with an expired license plate and driving with a suspended license. He was also picked up on two fugitive from another jurisdiction charges for Point Coupee Parish — one for felony theft of asset of an aged person and one for driving under suspension.
