GRAMBLING — Aaron James has been in it for the long haul at Grambling State University.
First as an All-American basketball player at GSU and then a New Orleans Jazz standout, followed by stints as assistant coach, head coach and now interim athletics director, James has long been a force for GSU athletics.

Those efforts were recently rewarded, as James was announced as one of eight former athletes who will be inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame later this summer. The announcement was made at the Ambassador Hotel in New Orleans.
