While many people think of the standard middle-aged domestic violence disputes involving thousands of people daily, those same people may forget about another age group that faces its fair share of abuse — the elderly.

Whether it’s an older husband continuing years of unchecked abuse on his spouse, or a grandchild coercing his or her grandparents for money to spend on drugs, these accounts of domestic violence affect the elderly in negative ways.
