Fan: Shreveport not a 'home' game

As a citizen of Ruston and a fan/supporter of Tech Athletics, I read with interest the article in Thursday’s edition of the Ruston Daily Leader regarding the Louisiana Tech Bulldog’s 2012 opening football game with Texas A&M. I think it is great that the Bulldogs get to play A&M again. I truly hope the outcome is much better than our previous games.  However, I am always amazed that the Tech Athletic Department calls playing in Shreveport “a home game.” Last time I went to Shreveport, it was about 70 miles away, and depending on traffic, at least an hour away. That’s not home.
