The Lincoln Parish Library Events Center is featuring a photographer’s work in celebrating the 200th birthday of Louisiana’s statehood.

Emily Brodnax, originally from Mer Rouge, will have her artwork that highlights Louisiana’s culture and wildlife featured now through March 19.

“I came across her work by looking at local artists in the North Louisiana Artists Guild,” Programming Coordinator Emily Arnold said. “Once the art panel looked at the work we decided to feature her for the 200th birthday celebration.”
