Choudrant schools work to improve

As standardized testing looms ever closer, many throughout the parish are concerned about what is being done to improve scores in the parish.

Last month, Lincoln Parish School Board members held a meeting in the new Choudrant Elementary School library and learned what both Choudrant Elementary and High schools were doing to improve their School Performance Scores.

Choudrant High School received a score of 117.2 , which is 2.8 points away from an A. Lisa Bastion, principal of CHS, said she and her staff are focusing on improvement.
