Civil War hits close to home
Some who have read these lines before might recall that your writer has more than just a passing interest in the Civil War or the War between the States. Some here still call it the “War of Northern Aggression.” We know that one of the greatest yet monumentally formative tragic times in the history of our nation was the Civil War. It involved families, citizens and nearly all from every walk of life. We arguably still deal with some of the remnants of that time to this day.
