Hearne, Allen marry in Novemeber wedding

Sarah Hearne, of Ruston, and Daniel Allen, of Ruston, were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony at 5 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Norton Building in Ruston.
The ceremony was officiated the by Rev. Michael McBride.
Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott and Shelly Hearne, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of David C. Hearne, and the late Shirley Hearne, of Lafayette, and Merlyne Meche, and the late Raymond Dale Meche, of Opelousas.
Daniel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Allen, of Ruston. He is the grandson of D.K. Allen and the late Gloria Jean Allen, of West Monroe, and the late Brother Fred and Ruth Guibert.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown designed by Sottero and Midgley. The gown was an ivory demir satin with a sweetheart neckline and with ruching along the bodice. With asymmetrical plummets below the waist the train poured into a gorgeous ballroom hem. The fitted bodice featured crystals and pearls. The veil was elbow length trimmed with crystals and pearls.
The bride’s bouquet was comprised of mini green Hydrangea, purple stock, white stock, green Hyperiaum berry, white roses, white spray roses and white Alstromeria tied with white satin ribbon.
Hannah Hearne and Emily Hearne, of Ruston, both served as maid of honor. Bethany Milner Hearne, of Choudrant, Lucy Maddry, of Dubach, and Morgan Garrison, of Ruston, served as bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids wore short cotton satin dresses with ruching on the bust and at the waist. The dresses were a lapis color with matching lapis heels.
The bridesmaid’s bouquets consisted of purple Alstromeria, mini green Hydrangea, purple stock, white roses and green hypericum berry.
Dusty Dugdale, of Choudrant, served as best man.
Andrew Garrison, of Shreveport, William Bolin, of Shreveport, Jacob Hearne, of Choudrant, and Hunter Dugdale, of Choudrant, served as groomsmen.
Carley Harrell, of Donaldsonville, and Bailey Smith, of Opelousas, both served as flower girls.
Music was provided by Robert Grafton and Tommy Hanna.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Norton Building.
Marsha Snipe served at the reception.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents was held Nov. 18 at Landry’s Seafood.
A “Bridal Shower” was held Oct. 1 at the home of Donna Frasier. It was hosted by Donna Frasier, Mary Manuel, Ginger Manuel, Jeanne Van Benthuysen, Sandi Adams and Susan Cline.
A “Wedding Gift Collection” was held Oct. 16, in Vienna at Calvary Baptist Church. It was hosted by the ladies at Calvary Baptist Church.
A “Bridal Shower” was held Oct. 23 at the home of Kacee Loe. It was hosted by Adrian Seney, Laundi Williams, Misti Garrison, Ashley James, Tammy McCaskie, Caskey Schexnyder and Kacee Loe.
A “Bridal Luncheon” was held Nov. 19 at Sharper Image. It was hosted by the bride’s aunts, Cindy Harrell and Mechelle Smith.
A “Tool Shower” was held Nov. 12 at the home of Jacob Hearne. It was hosted by Jacob Hearne, Scott Hearne and Dallas Allen.
The couple chose Tennessee for their honeymoon and will reside in Ruston upon return.
