The Bayou D’Arbonne Lake Watershed District is negotiating with Houston-based Southwestern Energy on a deal to sell water from Lake D’Arbonne for fracking operations.

If a deal is reached, Southwest Energy would purchase around 12 million gallons of water over a 90-day period.
