A team of 12 members of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) will arrive in Downsville on March 28 to work for a month on projects in Bryan Park as part of Phase II of a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant funded by the Louisiana Office of State Parks.

The group of trained individuals from across the United States will remove invasive species and build trails, as well as construct an entrance kiosk, an observation bridge and two wetland boardwalks throughout the 35 acre park located on Highway 151.
