I have never really considered myself a fan of politics. I mean sure, I have followed political races and the news, and being a journalist, I know a little bit about most everything going on in the world of politics at the current moment. But for the most part, when it comes to actually getting involved and caring about what politicians have to say, I have never been much of a listener.

Whether it is a super liberal candidate telling me to let loose and let the government take care of it or a super conservative candidate telling me to fix my problems myself, I have never really gotten the spirit and tone of the whole “political” process.
