Question: I am in my early 60s and still working. I do not know yet when I will retire, since I like what I do. I am trying to figure out when I should start taking Social Security benefits. Should I take a lower benefit now, or wait until later to take a higher benefit?
 
Answer: If you can tell me exactly how much money you will earn for the rest of your life, and the day you (and your spouse?) will die, I can tell you exactly what to do.
