CHS mock crash
Choudrant High School’s Student Council, local law officials and firefighters came together on Tuesday to participate in a mock crash sponsored by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
The mock crash, a very realistic portrayal of what can happen when someone drinks and drives, was held for the students of Choudrant High School whose prom is Saturday.
“The purpose is to make students aware of what can happen on a prom night,” said Tommy Grafton, project director for the North Central Alliance Partners in Prevention. “We want to remind students not to drink on a special night.”
