The "meat" is actually a preserved pig lung that's part of a presentation Lincoln General Hospital Assistant Director of Marketing Rachel Scriber hopes leads Hileman and his classmates at Ruston Elementary School to practice good health habits.
Scriber's demonstration not only complements third-grade teacher Lisa Hixson's science unit, but also underscores the sort of helping-hands partnership that exists between local schools and businesses, like Lincoln General, that participate in the local Adopt-A-School program.
