Parents hoping to learn more about the Lincoln Parish School Board’s ongoing desegregation case and how the resolution of the case may change public schools in the future are likely disappointed after the board’s regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday night.

Despite Superintendent of School’s Danny Bell’s response to a question during the Feb. 7 regular meeting that the board would likely have some results to discuss with the public at Tuesday night’s meeting, the board instead held another executive session strategic planning meeting during the regular scheduled meeting. The board went into executive session for approximately 45 minutes and did not make any comments or take any action regarding the case when they returned to open session.
