4-H students work to crumple bullying

Students uncrumple paper, as directed by Morton, to teach them about the negative impact of bullying.

More than 500 students watched in silence as the pictures and names of students age 9-19, who had taken their lives because of bullying, filled a screen in front of them.

Students involved in the Lincoln Parish 4-H program had gathered at the Northern Louisiana Exhibition Center to celebrate their achievements throughout the year. They were also given a presentation on bullying by John Morton, a police officer with the Bossier City Police Department, who has a personal connection to the subject.
