LPNET makes a sweet arrest

A funny package in the mail led to the arrest of six individuals, including five Ruston residents, and the confiscation of more than three pounds of marijuana, one pound of hashish, a cabinet used to grow marijuana indoors, several weapons, two vials containing suspected LSD, a piece of “blotter paper” containing suspected LSD and 113 lollipops containing suspected THC.
Alan Michael Shaffer, 29, 210 Lilinda Drive, Christina Burson, 27, 210 Lilinda Drive, Michael Renn Brasher, 25, 1214 Apple St., Vidalia, Russell Erik Brasher, 22, 410 W. Carolina Ave., Sarah Diaz, 23, 410 W. Carolina Ave. and Victoria Khalil Langan, 19, 410 W. Carolina Ave. were all arrested Tuesday on drug charges by the Lincoln Parish Narcotics Enforcement Team.
