To cut, or not to cut? That has been the question our elected officials in Baton Rouge have been chosen to answer in regards to the state’s $25 billion budget proposal.

The House passed HB1, the current budget proposal, without the inclusion of $268 million in one-time funding, which set off a whirlwind response from state leaders in health care and education fields.
