Who should make the decisions regarding an organization? Someone with years of experience with that group or a similar one, or a person with no experience or interest in that field whatsoever?

I’ve heard some educators voice concerns about how many individuals with no classroom experience have been placed on boards to make decisions that impact those who have real, hands-on experience in the educational system.

Sad, but it doesn’t seem that unusual in our society for people with no idea what workers in a certain field endure in a day’s job to be put in positions of power over them.
