Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, June 20, 2012 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
Commencing at an existing one inch iron rod at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, Township 20 North, Range 3 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana; thence run East for a distance of 1344.78 feet to a point; thence run South for a distance of 191.65 feet to a cotton picker spindle at the intersection of the centerline of Louisiana Highway No. 545 with the centerline of Kay Road for the Starting Point, said call being to said cotton picker spindle, not withstanding the actual distance thereto, from said starting point, thence run S01š-24’-45”W along the centerline of Kay Road for a distance of 701.13 feet to a cotton picker spindle; thence, leaving said centerline, run N89š-48’-31”W for a distance of 288.72 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run S72š-31’-51”W for a distance of 156.18 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run N54š-44’-37”W for a distance of 119.18 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run N06š-13’44”W for a distance of 309.54 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run N09š-28’-48”E for a distance of 95.88 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run N40š-44’-47”E along an existing fence for a distance of 158.29 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run N12š-49’-29”E along an existing fence for a distance of 66.20 feet to a 1/2 rebar; thence leaving said fence, run S87š-36’-53”E for a distance of 258.94 feet to a 1 1/2 inch iron pipe in an existing fence; thence run N04š-11’-32”E along said fence for a distance of 156.94 feet to a cotton picker spindle in the centerline of Louisiana Highway No. 545; thence run S73š-19’-54”E along said centerline for a distance of 189.87 feet back to the point-of-beginning; containing 8.114 acres and being subject to all easements and rights-of-way of record or use; subject to restrictions, servitudes, rights-of-way and outstanding mineral rights of record affecting the property.
Seized as the property of defendants Marcus Roland Kay and Teresa Ann Kay and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash with benefit of appraisement. This 11th day of May, 2012.
