On April 19, the Advocacy Center dedicated its new building on Oak Street in New Orleans to Systems Advocacy Specialist Charles H. Tubre.

New Orleans Deputy Mayor Cedric Grant dedicated Advocacy Center’s new building to Systems Advocacy Specialist Charles H. Tubre in a program that featured a speech by R. Allen Eskew, principal architect for Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, who worked with Tubre on a number of accessibility projects, and testimonials to Tubre’s body of work read by colleagues and friends.
Also in the program was the reading of a House Resolution by Rep. Rob Shadoin, R-Ruston, commending Tubre’s work on behalf of disabled people.
Charles Tubre is the brother of Bill Tubre, of Ruston.
