Question: My wife’s father owns a business that he plans to leave to his children. His only son works with him in the business.

My wife and her sisters have no involvement in the business. I am worried that my father-in-law’s plan to leave the business to his children will create significant friction between the siblings. Surely this has happened before. What can we do?
