Rozelle, Hamilton unite in matrimony
Christopher Dwain Rozelle and LeAnne Elizabeth Hamilton were united in matrimony June 16 at the Rozelle homestead in Choudrant. The double- ring ceremony was officiated by Mayor Bill Sanderson of Choudrant.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Lesa Hamilton, of Bedford, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Roy and Ellen Glover, of Ruston, and late Billy and Dorothy Hamilton. She is the great-granddaughter of Carrie Terrill, of Ruston.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Tina Rozelle, of Choudrant. He is the grandson of Judy Barnett, of Heflin, Jewel Rozelle, of Winnfield, the late Kenneth Rozelle and the late E.L. Hicks.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore her mother's wedding gown that had been modified by long-time family friend Gayle Pylant. The gown fell from the shoulders in a fitted bodice that cascaded into lace. She carried an arrangement of country floral blooms that were held together by one of the cuffs from the wedding gown and clutched two hankies, one from her late grandmother and one from her great- grandmother.
Attie Rozelle, daughter of the groom, served as the wedding party attendant.
Rachel Blackmon of Rae Davis Photography served as official photographer of the evening.
Prior to the ceremony, a rehearsal dinner was held on June 15 at Portico Bar and Grill, hosted by the groom’s parents.
Prior to the wedding ceremony, various festivities were given in the couple’s honor.
On April 21, a bridal shower was hosted by the groom’s family in Choudrant.
On May 5, a recipe bridal shower was given by Kakie Currey and the bride’s family in Bedford, Texas.
On May 26, a “stock the bar” barbecue was hosted by Carol Dreyfus and Hugh Durham in Ruston.
On June 9, a lingerie shower was hosted by Nicole Rozelle and Sarah Morrison in Choudrant.
After a honeymoon to Hot Springs, Ark., the couple will make their home in Choudrant.
