Boys and Girls Club receives funding for meals program
The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Louisiana recently received a grant of $12,000 to expand their summer feeding program. This funding is made possible by a grant from United Way of Northeast Louisiana through funding provided by The Lincoln Health Foundation. These funds have allowed the Boys and Girls Club to open three additional feeding sites and serve an additional 5,000 meals in Lincoln Parish this summer. Last year more than 14,000 lunches were provided to children through the summer feeding program at the Boys and Girls Club.
