According to an affidavit prepared by the Grambling Police Department, two police officers were reportedly dispatched in reference to two males spray painting street signs on Adams Street on Wednesday at approximately 4:28 p.m.

Upon arriving at Maxie Street, the officers made contact with Steven Devon Hardyway and Lydell Reed Hill. The subjects were reportedly asked to stand against the car, where the police officers conducted a search for safety purposes.
