The North Central Louisiana Arts Council, along with 102 a Bistro will be featuring the works of regional artists Kayla Anderson and Brooklyn Bain.

An opening reception will be held on from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 1 for the show titled "Captured Transfer."

Anderson just completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in May from Louisiana Tech University. She recently was featured in the publication The Sun Magazine. During her time at Tech she had an internship with Kevin Beasley Photographers, Inc., The Tech Talk, and the Lagniappe yearbook. She is inspired by handcrafted art and visually enticing literature and explores such inspirations by making art from a variety of materials. Her work to be on display at 102 a Bistro is large scale photo transfers done on non-traditional medium.
