Remodeling makes for an exhausting return
I got back home last night, but think I made a big mistake.
In the morning, they’re tearing out the old flooring, beginning with the entrance hall, putting in new hardwood floors in the living room, dining room and my bedroom. I should be leaving for two weeks, instead of getting here just in time for the big commotion.
I understand it’s supposed to get quite noisy beginning early tomorrow as they float out the floors before laying the new surface. I’m assuming “floating” is a builders’ term, not another water disaster like the one that started this whole mess.
