Parish Administrator Courtney Hall presented the preliminary subdivision plat of Mr. C. J. Underwood for a mobile home development on Pleasant Grove Road. Mr. Hall reported that the plat as submitted did not meet the requirements of the Lincoln Parish Code of Ordinances regarding subdivision of property or mobile home park development. Mr. Hall reviewed several specific deficiencies, including but not limited to, lack of approval from the local Health Authority, a dedicated refuse container site, and lack of minimum design standards for proposed streets. Mr. Hall indicated he would send Mr. Underwood a letter regarding these deficiencies. Mr. Willie Allen was present to comment on behalf of a group of concerned residents living near the area of the proposed mobile home development. Mr. Allen stated that a petition had been signed by approximately twenty-one area residents opposed to the development and requested that the Committee consider not approving the proposed development. Chairman Randy Roberson stated that Mr. Underwood would be required to meet all standards of the Subdivision Ordinance before the development would be approved by the Committee. There being no other business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
