Health tips for dealing with the heat
I would like to wish Ken Maki the best in his retirement, he has earned this time. His writings have been entertaining and informative for many years and the following of readers have benefited from his gardening wisdom and wit.
This column will always embrace the spirit of Ken. Any writer can put words on paper, but Ken’s column had a personal side and touched all readers, forming a bond which made all of us his friend. We will miss his words, but I can assure you he will be no stranger in future columns. I appreciate and look forward to continuing the tradition initiated by Ken.
