That’s how Billy Laird began describing Ruston High School’s new Jimmy “Chick” Childress field house early on, back when they hadn’t even put in the 16 televisions that are scattered throughout the facility.

Yeah, you read that right: 16 televisions.

Or 16 more than what occupied the now oh-so-outdated area where the Bearcats used to call home, over there on the east side of the stadium that now carries the name of L.J. “Hoss” Garrett with an additional tagline of James Field.
