Today, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) Secretary Sherri H. LeBas announced that the State Bond Commission approved a motion for the issuance of the solicitation for offers (SFO) related to the bonding of the Quality Surface Program.

The bonded funds, combined with State Highway Improvement Funds, provides $150 million for the state to repair and resurface nearly 80 road segments across Louisiana totaling approximately 360 miles. Today’s decision allows the Quality Surface Program to continue forward in the financing process.
