Leaders, citizens discuss new interchange

Jim Lyles, representing the consulting firm of Demopulos and Ferguson Associates in Shreveport, went outlined the $66.6 million plan, which include the new interchange, frontage roads connecting Ruston and Grambling, improvements to Interstate 20 exits at Cooktown Road and Grambling and widening Interstate 20 to six lanes through that area.
The work would be done in phases, with a timeline that starts in 2005 and ends in 2020, Lyles said.
