Since his arrival back in the United States, Sgt. First Class Chris Letendre has been enjoying the basic necessities.

“It’s nice to be able to have all the comforts like taking a warm shower every night and eating a good meal,” said Letendre, who just finished a one-year deployment to Afghanistan. “We stayed in some places where we could only shower about every four or five days because of a water shortage, and other times because of the pipes freezing in the winter.”
