Cots are set out for evacuees from South Louisiana at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston.

The Lincoln Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness is monitoring Hurricane Isaac, receiving updates from the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP), Region 8 agencies in Northeast Louisiana parishes and the National Weather Service.

LPOHSEP scheduled an Emergency Operations meeting for 10 a.m. today at the Lincoln Parish Police Jury/Emergency Operations Center conference room to prepare for when Isaac arrives in Lincoln Parish.
