Earl Lee Henry, Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Earl Lee Henry, Jr., age 85 of Natchitoches, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Salem Methodist Church in Dubach. Rev. George Holland and Rev. David Matlock will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Henry was born July 14, 1927 in Dubach to Earl Lee Henry, Sr. and Thelma Delois Williams Henry. He died August 27, 2012 in Ruston after a lengthy illness. Mr. Henry was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as an oilfield supervisor for Poloron and in his spare time, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and gardening. He was the music director at Christian Harmony Church. Mr. Henry loved singing and loved the Lord.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife: Linda Henry; his children: Jerri and husband Jimmie Martin of Dubach, Lonnie Henry and wife Lida of Dubach, Eddie Henry of Dubach, Mike Henry and wife Sissy of Dubach, Gary Henry and wife Carolyn of Dubach, Larry Henry and wife Kim of Simsboro, Phil Henry and wife Lori of Ruston, Michelle and husband Heath Duchesne of Dubach, Kenneth Henry and wife Jodi of West Monroe and Earl Henry and wife Amanda of West Monroe; 44 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three sisters: Nettie and husband Don Martin of Ringgold, Mary Faye Reynolds of Dubach and Dianne and husband Sheron Wroten of Rayville and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and two great granddaughters, one brother and one daughter-in-law. Pallbearers will be: Tommy Singleton, Mike Colvin, Eddie Colvin, Lavelle Singleton, Charles Moon and Jerry Singleton.
