Gregory Watson is excited to be in Ruston, though he’d prefer it be under better circumstances.

The Hicks resident, along with his father, is staying at the Red Cross Emergency Shelter set up at Trinity United Methodist Church, and said it is the perfect place to weather the storm.

“I love it,” Watson said. “The people are super friendly. They’re always asking if you need anything and if they can help you.”
