Pogue speaks to students about status of university

GRAMBLING — While school officially started for Grambling State University last week, students at the Historically Black College and University got to hear a little bit about how the state of the school is doing and what the future holds for the institution at the school’s Fall Convocation on Tuesday morning.

In front of a packed T.H. Harris Auditorium full of GSU students, faculty and staff, university president Frank G. Pogue spoke to the crowd about one of GSU’s main problems at this point — state budget cuts.
