Even with Hurricane Isaac blowing students out of school for a day, the first couple of weeks have still raised several other concerns for parents throughout the parish.

Parents with students in the four Ruston district elementary schools have expressed concerns about various topics from the racial makeup of classes to the time some students have to spend on the bus under the new system.
